  1. What do I see? I see a missed opportunity as this blog is wonderful and where have I been? I see a blurred image. I see something dark in the middle that extends to the edges. I see white on top and bottom. I try not to see what is next or before. Rather I just continue looking. Perhaps I also see meaning.

  2. Syllabus Response to What comes around goes Around.

Some people would call me a news Junkie. I check the New York Times and other news sites constantly. I, personally wouldn't use the word junkie. I would use the word student. I not only read the news but I study it. Not just the content but the underlying questions of why it is a story in the first place. Reading news, understanding what is going on the in the world is part of my creative process. News and journalism is an essential part of democracy and civil society. There are rules to doing it right. Not every reporter or news organization can do it at the highest level. Which is a long way, but hopefully not too long way to get around to saying that it needs to be noted that what is going on with the Murdoch media empire has a lot of "what comes around goes around" to it.
